- 원예·특용, 식용작물, 기초 및 응용농업 과학 분야의 상위 농업전문지식 및 농업 신기술 습득의 기회 제공을 통한 농산업 활성
- 농산업관련 종사자들이 석사과정 교육을 통해 새로운 지식과 기술을 습득하고 연구경험을 통해 농업현장의 문제점을 보다 효과적으로 해결할 수 있는 능력 배양
